Its not going to work as well as you think… =(

    Go to the doctor again.

Absolutely not. That probiotic only prevents yeast infections, it does not cure them once you have one. Plus, in that particular blend, there is dairy. I have a yeast infection on my right breast right now, and my doctor told me to get a tube of yeast infection cream over the counter and apply it to the affected area. Within a day it stopped itching and started to clear right up.

My doctor told me to apply lotrimin on my nipples after breastfeeding and wash it before feeding the baby. It is for athletes foot but appparently it is the same yeast.

You can do that, but its easier to put unsweetened yogurt on your nipples unless you or the baby is going to react. Most people who are allergic don’t react to it topically

All-purpose nipple ointment is also effective. (recipe: http://www.kellymom.com/newman/c-candida_protocol.html )

However if you still have it mildly in your breasts chances are its still systemic so you should take acidophilus, grapefruit seed extract, and try to eliminate the foods yeast feeds on in your diet (like sugar)
